ARSENAL fans reckon Emile Smith Rowe could get his Premier League debut this weekend after spotting him training with the first team.
The 18-year-old has won plenty of admirers after Unai Emery promoted him from the youth academy.He was compared to Kevin De Bruyne after his impressive performance against Borehamwood in July. But then two weeks later Smith Rowe repaid Emery for the chance by scoring an absolute screamer against Atletico Madrid. Since then his name has been on the lips of Gunners fans around the country.

And some of them reckon he might get his first taste of Premier League football on Sunday. Video footage emerged of the Englishman training alongside the likes of Lucas Torreira, Aaron Ramsey and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.He is one of the few who is not wearing a bib in the exercise. It was uploaded to Arsenal’s Twitter account, where it has racked up almost 100,000 hits.
And fans were quick to stake their claims. “Safe to say Emile Smith Rowe will be in the squad for Sunday,” one fan claimed. Another added: “Smith Rowe will be like a new signing.”And a third claimed: “I think Emile Smith Rowe is ready for the step-up.”

The Gunners will welcome Man City to the Emirates on Sunday at 4pm. And fans will be hoping to get a glimpse of some of their new signings after the transfer window closed this evening. Emery secured signatures from Torreira, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Stephan Lichtsteiner, Bernd Leno and Matteo Guendouzi.
