Darius Butler will return to Indy next season.

The former second-round defensive back signed a one-year deal with the Colts, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport and NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reported Friday. The contract is guaranteed for $2.5 million with incentives bringing the contract’s maximum value to $4.5 million.

Butler had a solid 2016 campaign — filling in at safety for the Colts due to injuries that depleted their secondary. It was Butler’s fifth season with Indy after spending his first two with the Patriots. The 30-year-old Butler has 12 interceptions with the Colts in 67 games, including 24 starts.

Here are some other free-agent moves from Friday:

1. The Seahawks agreed to terms with tight end Luke Willson on a one-year deal worth up to $3 million, Rapoport reported, per a source informed.

2. The Giants re-signed backup quarterback Josh Johnson to a two-year deal, Johnson’s agent confirmed.
